This is not necessarily a normal post about someone who served as a patriot of our country, but of an individual who touched the lives, hearts, and minds of three generations of fans.  I never had the pleasure to meet Mr. Mayhew, but I am honored to have enjoyed his talent.  The irreplaceable Peter Mayhew.  Rest easy Sir, and May the Force be with you!
